The Glass Tree is a fresh
and pretty Cornish shop situated in The Digey, St Ives, on
the main pedestrian route to the renowned Tate Gallery, and
minutes away from the harbour and beaches. Though small in
size, The Glass Tree is brimming with beautiful and exclusive
handmade cards, crafts - including hand-painted hand-blown
glass thimbles, Pilgrim jewellery, french toiletries and Gisela
Grahams exquisite range of giftware that provide unusual finishing
touches for the home.
All are displayed together to evoke a feeling
of an English lavender garden and a French attic, with a small
shabby chic range of furniture to finish the look. The Glass
Tree is in an original, picturesque part of St Ives - a grade
2 listed building, the shop itself is a wonderful mixture
of black beams and white dressers, and the colourful hanging
baskets that adorn the shop and The Digey throughout the summer
make it a magical place to visit.
Our Gisela Graham coordinated linenware includes
rosy aprons, oven gloves, cushions, dressing gowns, etc, her
stunning home accessories are irresistible with beautiful
pink or lilac wine glasses, hand-painted glass daisy water
jugs and decorative lavender bunches - perfect for filling
her white enamel effect jugs and milk pails. Bags of scented
rose buds and sweet or floral room fresheners create a delicate
perfume to the shop, whilst french linen water, soaps and
Vanessa Kemps 'cup cake' bath melts provide a touch of luxury.
The Glass Tree stocks the largest range of
Pilgrim jewellery in Cornwall, with its stunning colours and
unusual use of swarovski crystals and enamels. Each piece
is guaranteed to be 100% nickel-free and is packaged in Pilgrim's
own gift boxes and gift bags.
